Achilles the Great

Sunday, September 28, 2008

We now have the perks of having a cat, but not really having a cat. This is Achilles. He was named by Monique (Finz's daughter) Who knows why she choose that name but it stuck. He is the neighbor's cat but the neighbor forgets he needs to feed his cat, so my friend Finzel feeds it instead. When we hang out outside, Achilles comes and chills with us and plays with the kids. He's still a kitten so he's very playful but docile and the kids can pick him up and not get scratched (too much). He likes to lurk in our trees at night and no doubt he is murdering sleeping birds while he is up there. Amber told me the other day she missed Periwinkle. I told her I miss Periwinkle too but I dont miss her stinky litter box and her claws of destruction. I miss her keeping my feet warm at night though.
